Our Mission
REFRESH. RENEW. RESTORE.
We serve leaders to refresh, renew, and restore their lives to further Kingdom impact.
The need…
In a poll (2024) by Barna, 45% of pastors under the age of 45 have given “real” or “serious” thought to quitting in the last year. Additionally, 52% of pastors do not seek professional help for mental health due to cost, time, and other factors. In fact, there has been a decrease of those who rate their spiritual well-being (21% currently vs. 37% in 2016) and mental and emotional health (17% currently vs. 39% in 2016) as “excellent.”
Gallup shares that 75% of U.S. employees experience burnout at least sometimes, while 1 in 4 employees experience burnout either “very often” or “always.”
Researchers from Harvard and Stanford project that poor mental and emotional health results in between $125-190 billion in healthcare expenses per year. Furthermore, it is estimated to cost half to double a person’s annual salary depending on the level of their position.

Our Founder
Neil P. Hinders is an ordained pastor and the Founder/Executive Director of R3 Restoration, Inc. For nearly 20 years, he has served in a wide range of church settings and ministry roles, including youth ministry, creative arts, discipleship, and leadership of a large church campus. These experiences have given him a broad understanding of ministry and shaped his relatable, authentic approach to caring for pastors and ministry leaders.
Neil also understands the impact of burnout firsthand.
In 2023, he entered a season of weariness and fatigue that he could not shake. The weight of ministry grew heavier. He began to isolate himself, and increasing stress and anxiety led to many sleepless nights. Even the joy of serving in a healthy, growing church began to fade—and he did not know what to do about it.
After Christmas services that year, Neil reached a breaking point. He was ready to throw in the towel and say, “I’m done.”
As he faced intense anxiety, panic attacks, and depression, his family and church surrounded him with care. The months that followed felt like a roller coaster. But through counseling, spiritual retreat, and life coaching, Neil slowly regained his strength, joy, and passion for ministry.
Along the way, he realized that his approach to ministry had taken a wrong turn. Ministry had become something he did for God, driven by performance and the expectations of others. During a retreat, Neil sensed the Lord calling him to stop striving—to stop doing ministry for the Lord and begin doing ministry with the Lord.
That breakthrough reshaped his life and ministry. It also led him to begin serving pastors and ministry leaders who are facing burnout, recovering from it, or working to prevent it.
Today, Neil’s passion is rooted in a simple truth:
When pastors and ministry leaders are healthier, the church becomes healthier too.
