Our Mission
REFRESH. RENEW. RESTORE.
We serve leaders to refresh, renew, and restore their lives to further Kingdom impact.
The need…
In a poll (2024) by Barna, 45% of pastors under the age of 45 have given “real” or “serious” thought to quitting in the last year. Additionally, 52% of pastors do not seek professional help for mental health due to cost, time, and other factors. In fact, there has been a decrease of those who rate their spiritual well-being (21% currently vs. 37% in 2016) and mental and emotional health (17% currently vs. 39% in 2016) as “excellent.”
Gallup shares that 75% of U.S. employees experience burnout at least sometimes, while 1 in 4 employees experience burnout either “very often” or “always.”
Researchers from Harvard and Stanford project that poor mental and emotional health results in between $125-190 billion in healthcare expenses per year. Furthermore, it is estimated to cost half to double a person’s annual salary depending on the level of their position.

Our Founder
Neil Hinders is the Executive Director of R3 Restoration. Over the past 17 years, he has pastored in a variety of contexts and capacities to serve the local church and community. Throughout his ministry career, Neil’s desire to help people experience the transformative power of the Gospel has only grown. However, this was greatly tested when he personally encountered burnout. This experience brought him to a place of anxiety and depression, as well as confusion and disillusionment. He nearly threw in the ministry towel. Through months of recovery, counsel, and support, Neil experienced restoration. He learned how to exchange striving in ministry for thriving in Christ. This breakthrough led him to start serving pastors and ministry leaders to prevent ministry burnout. His passion is driven by the fact that when pastors and leaders are healthier, the church is healthier too.
